I've also having problems with what appears to be the "mouse can't click" Vista problem. But I do can click, it seems thought that the clicks stay within one window or focus area, even if it is in the back of others.

The problems in my case appers to be started by Firefox. Just about now, when I was right-clicking in certain places outside the Firefox window, pop-up menus of Firefox apperared. But even for changing tab o FF won't work. By the way, when I've changed the FF tab (by Ctrl-Tab), the mouse was hovering the Yahoo! Mail tab content, not the one showed on screen!

I gess that's simply weird, someone has any other hints? My mouse has this Lenovo driver, maybe uninstall?

Robert,

I thank you for your astute observation. The simple fact is that it appears that there are multiple issues causing this issue. If I am to truly fix this issue, I need more time with it and my PC isn't exhibiting these symptoms.

And the Office keys have worked for some but not all.

I never got to finish my tests with this issue as the client that it happened to needed his laptop back and this issue hasn't come up again with one of my clients. If you would be generous enough to send me your computer, I'll send it back after I have finished ALL testing to see what I can find and I will have a more solid answer. If you're not willing to loan me your ailing computer, I can't continue the tests to give you anything definitive.

Ok,

I'm having the exact same problem...

Mouse stops being able to click, I've seen this problem on Xp and Vista systems, and from what I've seen, it seems to be something to do with multiple displays (that could just be coincidence however)

Although I'm sorry to say that I am still having the exact problem as above, although I don't, nor have ever had any MS Office software on my Vista machine, and thus the above reg keys don't exist!!

Would love a fix for this, as it's really rather annoying!

I changed my mouse from ball to laser and it is still "sticky." It seems to stop and get stuck. I am running Vista. The laser mouse worked excellent the first two days after I purchased it, then the problem started all over again. I thought after going from a 5.99 ball mouse to a 20.00+ laser mouse that it would permanently fix my problem. Help someone?
