To get the best antivirus Scan from Avira Antivir, you have to change 1 small setting in Avira. If you don’t, not all files will be checked for viruses.

1. Open Avira.

2. Click on “Configuration” just above the status view.

3. Under “Scanner” choose “All Files” instead of “Use Smart Extensions” or “Use File Extension List”

4. Click “OK”.

5. Run scan.

6. Be Happy.
